Orgasm Shot (O-Shot®)

Many women suffer in silence when it comes to talking about sexual problems. Menopause, child-birth and even the natural ageing process can result in a loss of sensation, decreased sexual enjoyment and functional issues in the vaginal region. The O-Shot®, or Orgasm Shot®, is a pioneering new non-surgical technique which involves Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) being injected into the vagina in order to rejuvenate it and enhance sexual pleasure.

The O-Shot® procedure works by using the body’s natural ability to heal and rejuvenate itself by injecting growth factor rich Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) into the vagina to stimulate a regenerative process. It is the same technique used for the Vampire Facelift® whereby a small amount of blood is taken from the arm and then placed in a centrifuge where the plasma is then harvested. This plasma contains cell-regenerating growth factors, which, when injected into the vagina, trigger stem cells to grow healthier vaginal tissue.

One of the big advantages of the O-Shot® treatment is that you can return to your normal activities immediately after treatment. Sexual intercourse can even be resumed the same day.

FAQ on O-Shot®

1What is an O-Shot®?
The O-Shot® PRP injection is an in office procedure that is virtually painless. Using a centrifuge and special method, platelet rich plasma (PRP) is isolated from your own blood in about 10 minutes. Then, using a very thin needle, the PRP is injected back into the clitoris and upper vagina into the area most important for the sexual response, the O-spot.
2Does it Hurt?
Although every woman’s experience will be slightly different, most patients are surprised – this really doesn’t hurt. You may feel a slight pinch or a warm sensation with no discomfort after. We recommend resuming normal physical exercise and sexual activity immediately after.
3How Long Does it Last?
The O-Shot lasts up to 3 years or longer in some women. However, on average, women repeat the procedure every 18 months. Some women will see an immediate increase in sexual desire, but for most patients, it takes 3 months to enjoy final results.
